Sometimes the hardest part is leaving the house, leaving the yard, getting out the gate. But once you get outside and get going, you will most likely find a pleasant surprise waiting for you.
We cannot over-state the effects of movement on all the functions of the body. Nothing works better without regular exercise. There is not one cell, one chemical process, one electrical signal or even a tiny speck in your body that escapes the benefits of regular exercise.
However, if there is one vital reminder that might help keep you motivated, it is your blood. Your blood, as we stated in Nutrition, is the transport system moving all ingredients for cell-building and cell-life, through your body. Oxygen being one of the vital components. Your blood is like a delivery system. It cannot deliver anything if it is not moving. You can breathe the best oxygen, eat the best food, and apply all the rules of good eating. But if the blood does not move, it does not deliver.
Imagine a courier company with the slogan: we move slowly!
Um... that won't really encourage you to use their service. So why do we settle for slow blood circulation? If we half-understood the rate at which cells die off or deform or produce toxins when they are deprived of good blood circulation, we would not need as much motivation to get moving.
You can Google it, Youtube it, read about it... what ever you do, don't believe the lie that your cells can be healthy without exercise.
So how do I choose the best exercise?

So how do I choose the best exercise?
- Personally, we choose to follow the Bible as our life-guide. It is a personal choice. We see the many examples in scripture that shows God's intention for the ideal living circumstances for humanity. Genesis 2:15 says that the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden to work it and care for it. This was before any account of sin. So work was part of the original blessings of creation, not part of the curse. Gardening, living in close relation to nature, spending time in fresh, open air. This is our exercise. Yours may be different, but what ever you do, don't be fooled into believing you have to endure 20-30 minutes of torture 2-3 times per week.
- Choose exercise that you enjoy doing. There are such varieties of physical activities to choose from, that it never needs to be torture. Choose something inexpensive, that you can sustain without doing a spree of shopping for special gear or other stuff. I am not a fan of subscription-based exercise plans. It was intended by our Creator to be freely available to all of humanity, for their health and enjoyment.
- When ever possible, exercising in close connection with nature will give the best benefits for your blood circulation, muscles, heart and of course your brain. Various studies have proven that exercising regularly in nature, improves mental health in astounding ways.
- Of all the different kinds of exercise, High Intensity Intermittent Training (HIIT) is proven to be the most beneficial to heart health. This would be a good place to start, and it only takes 10-15min per day.
"If physical exercise were combined with mental exertion, the blood would be quickened in its circulation, the action of the heart would be more perfect, impure matter would be thrown off, and new life and vigor would be experienced in every part of the body." --EGW, Counsels on Health p. 572--
