“The stomach, liver, lungs and brain are suffering for want of deep,
full inspirations of air which would electrify the blood and impart to it a
bright, lively color, and which alone can keep it pure,
and give tone and vigor to every part of the living machinery.

Have you ever seen the warnings on plastic packaging to be aware of suffocation? Have you ever felt the fear rising up in you when you can't get enough air, like when you are under water?
Our bodies can go without food for quite a bit longer than most of us think. We can survive without water for a few days.
But your cells can't survive without oxygen.
Without pure air, cells will die, they change metabolism and release toxins and various bodily systems fail to perform their duties.
Breathing is subconscious, so yes, I am aware that you don't need a reminder to breathe.
But you might want to take active control of WHAT you are breathing. When ever possible, find a place to breathe fresh air, clean oxygen and air free from pollution. As a family, we even opted for moving to the countryside to ensure we can breathe clean air every day. It is, to say the least, a wonderful blessing. Many people cannot be in the countryside all the time. At the very least, ensure your home and work environment is well-ventilated and that stale air is not re-circulated all day and night.
It is also good to remember that we were created to inhale vital oxygen, and exhale metabolic waste in the form of carbon dioxide. Anything that causes us to re-breathe our own exhaled waste, is unhealthful. Any device or enclosure that hinders you from accessing pure, clean, oxygenated air, is unhealthful and dangerous.
Now don't get me started on mold..........
